Bio
Rebecca earned her B.A. in Classics and English from Texas A&M University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019. At Texas A&M she also participated in the Museum Studies program and worked with the Special Collections at the Cushing Memorial Library and Archives. At William & Mary, her research focuses on historical memory and nationalism. She researches memory in modern Texas, where it serves as a means of continuing the settler colonial project, and in 18th century Scotland, as Jacobite immigrants to America defined their allegiances in the time of the American Revolution.
