Bio
Kaitlyn is a first-year MA/PhD student in William and Mary's History department. She is interested in womanhood and families in maritime communities across the Atlantic World, including female engagement with international trade, social networks, and both local and global migration patterns. A trained genealogist, Kaitlyn is especially interested in synthesising the liberal art skills of a historian with the technical approaches of genealogy in her research.Kaitlyn received a B.A. in Family History-Genealogy from Brigham Young University in 2023. In 2024, Kaitlyn graduated with a MPhil in Early Modern History at the University of Cambridge with a Distinction.
