2025 Graduate Research Symposium
February 27-28, 2025
The Graduate Research Symposium, hosted by the Arts & Sciences Graduate Center, will take place in the Sadler Center, February 27-28 (Thursday and Friday). This distinctive event encourages interdisciplinary exchange, bringing together students from across Arts & Sciences at William & Mary with graduate students in Arts & Sciences disciplines from other universities. The Symposium highlights the interdisciplinarity and connection found within our community of researchers.

Thursday, February 27
- Research Talks, 9:30-12:00
- Lunch break, 12:00-12:30
- Research Talks, 12:30-4:30 (1-hour concurrent sessions)
- Coffee, tea, and snacks available all day
- Journal Club, 5:30-7:00
- Journal Club brings together students from across Arts & Sciences at William & Mary for weekly research presentations in a lively, friendly environment fueled by free pizza and beer. We invite all symposium presenters to join us for a very special Journal Club.
- Research Talks, 9:00-11:30 a.m. (1-hour concurrent sessions)
- Research Award Winners' Panel, 10:30-11:30
- Lunch break, 12:00-12:30
- Research Talks, 12:30-3:00 p.m. (1-hour concurrent sessions)
- Poster Session & Networking Reception, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Fee-free Event
There are no fees to participate in the Graduate Research Symposium. However, presenters are responsible for any travel-related expenses, as well as costs associated with printing research posters for presentation.
