Diversity Plan
The Department of Government is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive environment. To advance that commitment in concrete ways, the Department adopted a diversity and inclusion plan in May 2017. The plan is organized around four broad objectives: (1) Promote a departmental and campus culture that embraces diversity policies and practices. (2) Enhance the diversity of Government Department faculty. (3) Retention of a diverse faculty. (4) Increase the diversity of student learning experiences in classes and outside the classroom.
