Background

Before joining William & Mary, Yi was an assistant professor with Old Dominion University. Yi serves as an Associate Editor for Big Data Research and sat on the organizational committee for data mining conferences, such as Workshop Co-Chair of ICDM 2023 and NSF Student Travel Award Chair of ICDM 2024. He is the recipient of the IEEE TCII Volunteer Award 2022 and the NSF CRII Award 2023.
