Events
Occasionally, our faculty host conferences such as the 2018 convention of the Association of Ancient Historians, the 2016 Classical Association of Middle West and South Conference, or the 2012 Athenian Potters and Painters III conference.
Annually, the department presents three lectures made possible through the generosity of our benefactors. These lectures, delivered by scholars of international reputation from around the world, present topics of interest to students and scholars at William and Mary and to the broader Williamsburg community. They are always free and open to the public. If you are interested in supporting an endowed lecture in the department, please contact us.
