Integrated Science Center (ISC)
The chemistry department is in the Integrated Science Center (ISC) and has 25 teaching or research labs. Research labs are equipped with various levels of fume hoods, standard laboratory equipment, chemical and solvent storage, computing equipment, and desks for research students. Teaching labs, with sufficient fume hoods for every pair of introductory chemistry students, provide an outstanding laboratory environment for teaching purposes. Other resources:
- Multiple instrument rooms, equipped with top-notch instruments
- Chemistry library is maintained by SWEM Library staff and is a popular study spot for students
- Seminar room for classes, lab groups, student clubs and faculty meetings
- Liquid nitrogen dispensing closet on every floor
