Kate Mott
Herbarium Volunteer
Kate Mott '16 began volunteering as a sophomore at the College of William and Mary in the spring semester of 2014, and was hired as an Herbarium Assistant in Fall of 2014. She is a great help processing specimens by mounting specimens and labels on archival paper, and performing other tasks to assist the curator. Kate is majoring in Biology and Environmental Science and is a wonderful addition to the herbarium crew. In the summer of 2014, Kate worked was a Naturalist Intern at Huntley Meadows Nature Park.
Update, 2016: Kate had "the summer dream job of my life" working for the U.S. Park Service at Yellowstone National Park from May to October 2016. After that, Kate took a job working in an Environmental Restoration consulting firm.
