Lee Ellison '60 (B.S., Chemistry & Fine Arts) writes: “After retiring from a career in Cardiac surgery, I, my wife, two children sailed to the Caribbean. We lived on and sailed out boat for one year, Moved to Nevis and taught at a World Health Organization Medical School for three years and finally sailed across he South Pacific from Tahiti to Tonga. We have now returned to the USA for our kids secondary school education. I have returned to Sculpture, which was my love at William and Mary. I am working at Stony Creek Granite and clay. Catherine (Betsy) Goin '64 (Studio) Betsy writes: "I was a flight attendant for United Airlines from 1964 to 2003. I retired then. Now I am an independent associate for USANA Health Sciences. I am also interested in showing and selling my paintings, and I am also interested in becoming a published writer." (2012)
J Hunter Todd '61 (Fine Arts/Philosophy) J Hunter writes: Happy to say we have started working on the 50th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival (April 21-30, 2017) - the longest running Indie film festival in the whole wide world! As founding Director, I have emerged as the longest running festival director also. Amazing! It all started with a film class by Prof Al Haak at W&M! www.worldfest.org

Georga Smith Williams '60 (Studio Art) Georga writes: "Since 1960 I have used my history of Fine Arts while a docent at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. My classes at W&M gave me a head start in training to be a docent. It was absolutely the most fulfilling and fun volunteer work that I have done. I was a docent for over 20 years. Since then I have taken painting classes....oil painting....and Mr. Thorne's oil painting classes at W&M gave me a firm background. Painting is my avocation but occasionally I manage to sell a piece here and there. My travels to many places too have accentuated my love and appreciation of art .All in all I feel so fortunate to have had these opportunities." (Oct, 2013)
