Department Awards
Students can apply individually for other W&M funding opportunities. Students are encouraged to reach out to departments, clubs and organizations on campus to determine what awards or scholarships may be available.
This is not an exhaustive list. Additional scholarships offered by William & Mary include varsity athletic recruitment scholarships through the Tribe Athletics Office and the Sharpe Community Scholars Program for which any enrolling student can apply.
Please note that all awards and scholarships that are given by departments may have an impact on a student's financial aid package.
William & Mary Alumni Sponsored Scholarships
- Hulon Willis Scholarship (PDF) - Sponsored by the Alumni Association. Only current students are eligible. Two successful applicants will be awarded $2,000 scholarships.
- The Order of The White Jacket (PDF) - For current students employed in food service that work on campus or in the Williamsburg community.
Military
- Revolutionary Guard Battalion offers two to four years of on-campus scholarships covering full tuition and educational fees to undergraduate and graduate students. Upon completing ROTC and degree requirements, you will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Active Army, Army Reserve or the National Guard.
- Army ROTC Scholarship covers full tuition and fees or full food and housing.
Graduate School
- School of Education Financial Aid offers information on department scholarships and graduate assistantships.
- Law School Financial Aid offers law students information about financial aid, Virginia in-state tuition and scholarships.
- Mason School of Business Full-time MBA Program Financial Aid has information for full-time MBA students regarding scholarships and graduate assistantships.

Other William & Mary Opportunities
- Student Leadership Development support provides organization, event and activity funding to assist students with conference fees and campus programming efforts.
- W&M Enslaved Ancestors College Access Scholarship and Memorial Program includes two annual awards for eligible Virginian undergraduate students. An application is required.
National Fellowships
- The Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs provides a summary of National Fellowship resources with prestigious scholarships that require institutional endorsement.
