St Andrews Joint Degree Programme
Financial aid is available to St Andrews Joint Degree Programme students who apply for admission through William & Mary for their first year of study. Students who apply for admission through St Andrews are not eligible for federal, state or institutional financial aid when studying at William & Mary. Private loans remain an option for students who apply through St Andrews.
In most cases, full financial need is met for Virginia residents through a combination of grants and loans. Qualifying out-of-state students may receive up to 25% of their full cost of attendance in grant aid in addition to other federal aid. Students interested in the St Andrews Programme will receive an initial aid offer as a first-year W&M student and during their periods of enrollment at William & Mary.
A second offer that outlines the aid available while enrolled at St Andrews will be sent soon after being admitted into the Joint Degree Programme. The purpose of these two notifications is to help you decide which program (St Andrews Joint Degree or William & Mary only) is best for your financial situation. When you make your enrollment deposit, you will indicate which program you wish to enter. Once enrolled, the financial aid offer for W&M only will be emailed and the aid offer for St Andrews Joint Degree will be send by U.S. mail.
Please contact your financial aid counselor if you have any questions about St Andrews financial aid.
As of the 2018-19 academic year, the St Andrews Programme will no longer be eligible for veterans benefits.
