Follow the steps below to schedule an event in the Wren Building. Never planned an event in the Wren Building before? [[wrenevents,Schedule an appointment]] and find out how to get the most out of your reservation.
- Review our guidelines for use. If you intend to serve food and/or beverages at your event be sure to review our catering guidelines as well.
- Choose a location. Every space in the Wren has its unique layouts and restrictions. Look through our directory to determine which location is going to best suit your needs.
- Submit a reservation request. Use the online form to submit your request. No event is officially booked until confirmed by the director of Wren Operations and Events.
- Plan for costs. Usage fees for the Wren Building are $60/reserved hour.
- Determine your furniture needs. Submit an online work order to Facilities Moving and Storage to arrange for your furniture and setup needs.
- Determine your A/V needs. The public rooms of the Wren Building are not equipped with any audio/visual technology or equipment. Contact W&M Tech Services at least 5 business days in advance of your event to request A/V.
Helpful Tips
- Before your event starts, check in with the Wren Building Superintendent. If you had requested furniture or A/V, the building superintendent can help you determine if those needs were met.
- When your event is over, do a final walk-through of the space to make sure that all trash has been properly disposed of and no items have been lost or forgotten. Also, let the Wren Building Superintendent know when your event is over and all guests have left.
- If you ordered A/V, be sure to contact W&M Tech Services to let them know your event has ended so they can pick up their equipment.
