Senior HRIS Analyst; University Human ResourcesWhat are some of your duties?
I configure HR information systems, create and test new business processes, provision security for Banner HR, PeopleAdmin, Qlik, and other ancillary systems,and provide ad-hoc reports.
What is your role in the Workday project?
I assist with the implementation for HR modules, reporting, and integrations.
What are you looking forward to following the adoption of Workday?
I'm looking forward to simplified business processes and reducing manual workarounds.
What is something you would like the W&M community to know about the project that they might not know?
All of the members of the project from across the university are working extremely hard to make Workday a success while maintaining current operations. At times, it feels like a full-time job on top of a full-time job. It may be difficult now, but we're actively configuring Workday to resolve unmet needs and moving away from, "We do this because that's how it has always been done." That makes these efforts worthwhile.
