Huron Consulting Services selected as Workday implementation partner
William & Mary has selected Huron Consulting Services LLC as the implementation partner who will work with the university to modernize its Enterprise Resource Planning platform. Huron will work directly with W&M to implement the Finance, Payroll and Human Capital Management Workday modules.
W&M is currently in the readiness and preparation phase, focusing on critical activities to support the successful implementation of Workday. Current work includes onboarding Huron, building project teams, understanding the Workday platform and enhancing our data governance and strategy.
W&M initiated a collaborative Request for Proposal (RFP) process for Workday implementation partners resulting in a cooperative contract available to all Virginia schools. This process included representatives throughout W&M and partner institutions, including Christopher Newport University and the University of Mary Washington. RFP committee members from all three universities collaborated on the RFP document, RFP evaluation, vendor screening, in-person presentations and final vendor selection. Six partners were considered, and four in-person sessions were held with finalists.
"As we stand on the brink of launching the transformative journey of the ERP modernization project, I am excited about our partnership with Huron as the service implementation firm that will help us along the way,” said Chief Information Officer Edward Aractingi. “Many thanks to the dedication and insight of our RFP selection committee members as their commitment to excellence and their diligent work over the spring ensured we have a strong implementation partner. Together, we are poised to embark on a path of innovation and efficiency that will redefine our operational capabilities. I look forward to continuous progress on this pivotal endeavor."
