Millworker Life
Now that we have gathered a tremendous amount of information—through fieldwork, lab analysis, documentary research—it is time to step back and look at a bigger picture. Our interpretation focuses on three aspects of millworker life: the landscape of their neighborhoods, their general health and sanitation (with special focus on privies), and their participation in the growing consumerism of the age.
