Background
My interest in video started at an early age. Growing up in a military family, it was common for us to have a camera recording footage of the latest event my Dad was missing while on deployment. Every Karate tournament, pumpkin carving and Christmas morning was captured on video.
I took that desire to capture life's events to Virginia Commonwealth University where I studied Broadcast Journalism. During my junior year, I started to work on documentaries with VCU-TV/HD, a television production operation that produced programming about the university. After graduating, I was hired as the Senior Producer for the studio. I produced nearly 9 hours of original programming including two Emmy Award winning documentaries.
Since leaving VCU, I have freelanced across Virginia either producing videos or working on films like Steven Spielberg's Lincoln and National Geographic's Killing Lincoln.
The W&M Story
I am extremely excited to help find ways to communicate the university's message through video. Whether you are a prospective student, studying abroad or an alum, I hope to help make you feel a little bit closer to William & Mary.
Personal Stuff
I love hanging with my family, eating good food and going to the movies. It’s all about the simple things!
