2014
- President created Task Force on Prevention of Sexual Violence and Harassment was created
- The Haven, a confidential resource for survivors, opened
- The first sexual misconduct climate survey was released to graduate & undergraduate students
2015
- Faculty and staff mandatory Title IX trainings were implemented (both online and in-person)
- New sexual misconduct policy and procedure approved
- Fraternity/Sorority Life (FSL) Task Force on Sexual Assault & Harassment Prevention created
- Coordinating Committee on Prevention of Sexual Assault & Harassment was created to implement Task Force recommendations
- All new undergraduate students required to complete Title IX and substance use training prior to attending
- Two new investigators hired to join the Title IX team
- Sexual misconduct resources such as bathroom stall posters disseminated campus wide
- Sexual violence website launched
- Reporting options improved and expanded
2016
- Sexual Misconduct Procedure improvements made for Faculty/Staff
- First annual report on sexual misconduct and response published
- Students gain local access to PERKs through partnerships with Riverside Hospitals
- Haven Director and Sexual Violence Prevention Specialist positions hired
- FSL Steering Committee created to implement FSL Task Force Recommendations
2017
- Climate survey launched for graduate and undergraduate students
- Title IX graduate student training implemented
- 2017 Annual Report published
- Video campaign launched to raise awareness about campus resources (prevention & response)
- Sexual Violence Prevention Education Calendar launched
- Coordinating Committee newsletter created
- Sexual Misconduct Protocol revised
2018
- I Can, I Will bystander intervention program launched
- Speak About It program hosted for students
- Sexual Misconduct Procedures revised
2019
- Second climate survey for undergraduate and graduate students launched
- Updated sexual misconduct procedure flowchart
- National Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council passed bylaws mandating training on survivor support and prevention for chapters
