George Greenia Research Fellowships in Pilgrimage Studies
The Institute for Pilgrimage Studies is pleased to offer the George Greenia Fellowships for Research in Pilgrimage Studies. The cash prize provides funding for faculty and/or graduate students to support original scholarship on pilgrimage or travel for transformation. This award is funded by private donations to a special fund the Institute has established for this purpose. Named in honor of our patron and founder, Emeritus Prof. George Greenia of the Dept of Modern Languages at William & Mary, whose unceasing energy, devotion to his students, outstanding scholarship and above all good humor, have made possible all the activities in which the Institute is engaged today.
