Background
Jim Barber is Clark G. and Elizabeth H. Diamond Associate Professor of Education. He is an expert in the areas of college student development, assessing student learning, and integrative learning. For nearly 15 years, Jim has studied the liberal arts as a researcher with the Wabash National Study of Liberal Arts Education. His research has been published in the American Educational Research Journal, Journal of College Student Development, Journal of Higher Education, Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, and Change Magazine.
