Charter Day Adventure Race

Embark on a Charter Day Adventure Race, completing challenges, following clues and solving puzzles inspired by William & Mary's history and culture. $3,000 in W&M Express and W&M Bookstore gift cards are up for grabs for the winners. Students may join the adventure virtually from anywhere! Add event to your calendar.
NOTE: Campus will be closed Friday, February 12, but this completely-virtual event will still take place!
HINT: Be sure to watch the ceremony as there is an Adventure Race riddle from President Rowe!
Virtual Adventure Race
Working individually, students will embark on a virtual adventure race, completing activities and solving puzzles online in an attempt to win prizes. Players will be provided with a web address that provides all materials needed to complete the race.
Online challenges feature William & Mary community members tasking players with activities that can be completed while connected via Zoom. Online puzzles will have players scouring text, photos and videos on the web to solve riddles and decipher codes during the race.
As with the in-person event, players that complete all activities and correctly solve all puzzles will be entered in a drawing for a grand prize. The winners will be selected in a post-race virtual ceremony!
Only current William & Mary students may participate in the Charter Day Adventure Race.
