The William & Mary Wind Ensemble will debut “Secrets Ohsatstenhserón:ni” at its spring concert on May 3 at 7:30 PM in the Sadler Center Commonwealth Auditorium. This piece was composed by Class of 1939 Maurine Stuart Dulin Artist-in-Residence Dawn Avery, a Grammy-nominated cellist, composer and vocalist of Mohawk descent. In addition to instrumental music, "Secrets" includes narration that names the various tribes that sent boys to attend the historic Brafferton Indian School.
General admission to the concert is $10; admission is free with a W&M ID.
