Patti DeBlass is a E-RYT 500, C-IAYT Yoga therapist and Certified Personal Trainer with specialty training in Yoga for Seniors from Duke Integrative Medicine, Yin Yoga, PTSD-Traumatic Stress and Therapeutic Yoga. She is a graduate of Inner Peace Yoga Therapy in Durango, Colorado under the direction of Michele Lawrence. Her emphasis is on chronic pain, cancer, depression, stress/anxiety, trauma and grief. She has had the pleasure of studying yoga and yoga philosophy with Mark Whitwell, Nischala Joy Devi, Amy Weintraub, Leslie Kaminoff, Durga, Maria Mendola, Antonio Sausys, Carol Krukoff, Kimberly Carson and Sarah Powers and Bernie Clark. Patti is certified in Functional Yoga Therapy and weaves in function and strength into most of her classes. To date, her training and teaching hours exceed over 10,000 hours. She specializes in teaching unique populations. She enjoys the challenge of creating group classes to suit her individual student’s needs physically, mentally and spiritually.

She has her Yoga Therapy Certification (an 800 hour course) from Inner Peace Yoga Therapy in Durango, Colorado under the direction of Michele Lawrence. She has had the pleasure of studying yoga and yoga philosophy with Mark Whitwell, Nischala Joy Devi, Amy Weintraub, Leslie Kaminoff, Durga, Maria Mendola, Antonio Sausys, Carol Krukoff, Kimberly Carson and Sarah Powers . Patti is certified in Functional Yoga Therapy with over 65 hours training. To date, her training and teaching hours exceed over 4000 hours. She specializes in teaching unique populations. She enjoys the challenge of creating group classes to suit her individual student’s needs physically, medically and spiritually as she is always utilizing the yogic principles to empower individuals to progress toward improved health and wellbeing.
Patti, and her husband Dave, are the founders of Blooms that Brighten,Inc., a Williamsburg nonprofit dedicated to donating fresh flowers to continuing care facilities. When not practicing, teaching or attending workshops for yoga, she enjoys any time spent outdoors, especially with her husband, two daughters and four rescue dogs.
