Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
Because the university is a state agency, employees may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The PSLF program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
PSLF forms should be completed and signed with pen and ink by the applicant prior to scanning and emailing [[AskHR]]. Digital signatures are not accepted. Please allow 48 business hours for processing, excluding weekends and holidays.
Information you may need to provide on the PSLF form, Section 3, includes the following:

It is against university policy to email anything containing a social security number. Please do not add your social security number until after we have returned the signed PSLF form to you.
