Union Central Desk Attendants
Job Description
Union Central Desk Attendants check out and maintain equipment in the games area in the downstairs lounge of the Sadler Center. They also assist in planning gaming tournaments, running social media, and upgrading games. Pay rate: $12.00/hr
- Oversee the Union Central game room, ensuring responsible use of equipment and space
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, often related to navigating the building or campus
- Maintain log of equipment check-outs and table game rentals
- Provide equipment maintenance and gaming console troubleshooting as needed
- Maintain Union Central in a neat and orderly fashion
- Serve on a project team, collaborating with other UC student-staff. Examples of project teams include social media, events, upgrades, etc.
- Serve as informational resource for students and visitors to campus
- Perform tasks as assigned by the professional staff or the Building Manager
