Testing Accommodations
"Extended time for quizzes, tests, and exams" or "Quiet, Private Testing Environment"
- The nature of this student's disability `results in the student needing more time to process information or produce responses in time-restricted testing environments.
- If the student and professor agree, the professor can find a suitable place for the student to take the exam in a distraction-reduced environment that is appropriate for taking a test with their accommodations. Generally, it is not ideal for the student to have to move to another location once the test session is in progress.
- If the student and professor prefer, the student can take their quiz, test, or exam with their accommodations in the SAS Testing Center, located at 181 Sadler Center.
- If choosing to test in the SAS Testing Center, students should inform their instructors of this plan at least 5 days in advance of their desired testing appointment.
- Please visit the SAS Testing Center page on our website to find out more information.
