Amelia was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, where she received a B.F.A. in Studio Art. For the five years that followed, Amelia worked as a Branch Banker at Branch Banking & Trust Company (BB&T) in Roanoke, VA and Richmond, VA. In August 2016, she moved to Williamsburg to attend graduate school at William & Mary. While studying Higher Education, Amelia also worked as a Graduate Assistant in Care Support Services. In May 2018, Amelia received her Masters of Education in Educational Policy, Planning & Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration. In June of 2018, Amelia returned to work at the Dean of Students office as the Coordinator of Care Support Services. In her role, she provides one-on-one support to students in need of resources and advocacy. When away from the office, Amelia can be spotted running around Williamsburg (literally). She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Chunk, and traveling around Virginia in search of the best food.
