Jenny is a William & Mary alumna (’99) who returned to Williamsburg in 2020 with a desire to support the wellbeing of a campus that still felt like home. Her W&M journey began as a first-generation low- income student where she discovered a vocation for supporting others through challenges. While she didn’t exactly use her biology major as expected, her alma mater inspired a lifelong love of learning that culminated in a Doctor of Ministry degree in educational leadership and a varied career that has integrated student support, education, mentoring, and counseling. Jenny is a national board-certified health and wellness coach and previously served as chaplain at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. At W&M she worked as a Wellness Professional in Health & Wellness before becoming the Director of Care Support Services in October 2022. Her strength is creating spaces where all people can feel heard and valued and her passion is cultivating a community of care focused on flourishing, equity, and belonging
