Full Description
The Office of Student Leadership Development is seeking a student for student employment as soon as possible. Duties include: office coverage; administrative work supporting staff projects; customer service serving students and Recognized Student Organizations, and promotion/PR for SLD programs, events, initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have the following characteristics:
- 6-8 hours of consistent availability per week (priority consideration for availability on Fridays)
- At least 4 semesters left at W&M
- Demonstrated success with detailed clerical work/processing
- Demonstrated proficiency with Canva and ability to create graphics that promote office initiatives and programs
- Informed use of social media and ability to support SLD outreach efforts
- Basic interest/skill in video editing for the creation of resources for recognized student organizations.
- An interest in student involvement and leadership development at W&M
Position pays minimum wage which is $12/hour. If interested, please contact Brenda Borden with a statement of interest, qualifications, and your tentative weekly availability for the Fall 2024 semester.
