Musical Ensembles

William & Mary is a musical campus - and the Department of Music is the heart of that.

Majors and non-majors are welcome to audition for departmental ensembles and partake in private lessons (for an additional fee). Most auditions are held at the beginning of fall semester, but students should consult the webpages of each ensemble or contact the ensemble's conductor for more details.

Music Department Performance Opportunities
Musical Ensembles William & Mary offers a variety of ensembles that are open to all students regardless of major. Ensemble members earn one academic credit per semester. Participation in the same ensemble for two semesters satisfies the Creative and Performing Arts proficiency.
