TribeLink Student Involvement

Due Jan 6

Involvement is more than just showing up.

At William & Mary, we believe that student leadership development is a cornerstone in supporting students to become engaged citizens. Leaders use their skills to create change, craft solutions, and seize opportunities. Leadership is not about position or title. All students have the capacity to effect positive change. Leadership can be learned and developed through campus involvement and practice. With involvement the opportunities are limitless and we’re here to support students as they explore their options.

Student organizations are responsible for many of the programs and events held on campus each year including social events, lectures, special events, cultural events and conferences. Being a part of an organization and helping to plan and put on one of these events, or to lead an organization, can teach you valuable skills that you can use throughout your lifetime.

TribeLink

TribeLink is William & Mary’s student engagement platform designed to enhance your involvement experience. To get started with TribeLink, there are a few things you need to do!

Explore the Wide Range of Opportunities to Get Involved On Campus Using TribeLink

Take some time to explore the vast involvement opportunities available to you. You can do this either through TribeLink on your computer OR from Corq. You can explore without logging in to either TribeLink or Corq, but if you want increased access to see more events or information about organizations, you can log in using your W&M credentials.

As you explore, take some time to reflect on what would make your involvement the most meaningful. Here are some questions to consider:

  • What do you care about? (People, places, causes, events, trends, cultures, etc.)
  • What skills, knowledge, or insights do you want to explore and develop?
  • What energizes you or restores your well-being?

We want you to become familiar with all of the awesome opportunities to get involved at W&M, however, please do not request to join any organizations yet! Organizations will begin the process of recruiting new members when the academic year begins and you can begin to request to join AFTER New Student Orientation. Trust us! There will be plenty of time to join clubs and organizations in the future.
