About Mayur
Mayur Nandkeolyar joined the Tribe Sports Medicine staff in the Fall of 2018. He comes to William & Mary most recently serving as Head Athletic Trainer at Evergreen Valley College. He earned his B.S. in Exercise Biology at UC Davis in 2014, then proceeded to obtain his M.S. in Athletic Training from California Baptist University in 2018. During his time at CBU, Mayur completed clinical rotations with CBU men’s and women’s basketball, and cheerleading. He has also worked numerous high school and collegiate cheerleading camps and competitions across the country with Varsity Spirit.
While with the Tribe, Mayur is responsible for the women’s basketball, women's golf, and cheer teams. He prides himself as a manual therapist and takes a whole body perspective when evaluating and treating injuries. He is certified in Tecnica Gavilan instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, Structure & Function Dry Needling level 1, is a NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist, and has taken courses furthering his knowledge in Mulligan Concept Lower Quarter and Upper Quarter, Positional Release Technique: Spine & Pelvis, McKenzie MDT, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation.
Mayur, originally from San Jose, CA, now resides in Virginia Beach, VA. He enjoys playing with his dog, Gryff, reading, watching TV and movies, and traveling when he has the time.
