About

Eric Jackson joined the Tribe staff in July 2021 and serves as the athletic trainer for the Men’s Basketball and Men’s Golf teams.

Before joining the Sports Medicine department, Eric spent two years as an assistant athletic trainer at South Carolina State University working with the Men’s Basketball and Men’s Tennis teams. Prior to South Carolina State University, Eric spent the 2018-2019 school year at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as an intern where he worked with the Football, Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Tennis teams. 

While at Michigan State, Eric worked with the Cross Country/Track & Field program his first year, followed by an assignment with Men’s Tennis his second year; both years also helping out with the Spartan football team in the summer and fall. During his time at Mizzou, he spent clinical rotations with many of their varsity teams as well as a summer internship with the Tennessee Titans. 

When he has time, Eric likes to hangout with friends, watch college football and basketball, and is an avid fan of anything Gordon Ramsay.
