About John
John has practiced in the Williamsburg Community for 31 years. He has been involved with the College of William and Mary serving as a Sports Therapy consultant and Certified Athletic Trainer. As a former Tribe linebacker, he now roams the sidelines at home games to help with the Sports medicine staff and local physicians. His tireless work ethic and dedication towards patient care also drive his involvement in the community. John has served as President of the Booster Board of Walsingham Academy and as the Regional President of the TRIBE CLUB of Williamsburg, the arm that raises money for athletic scholarships at The College of William and Mary. John has just finished serving as Chairman of The TRIBE CLUB board.John is an orthopedic therapist who treats a number of issues including knee, shoulder and hip joints, as well as neck and back pain. He is a Certified Sports Therapist through the ABPTS of the APTA, Certified Athletic Trainer through the NATA, and a Certified Strength Coach through the NSCA. He enjoys working with all patients including athletes and Sports Medicine patients.
John’s interests include fine cooking and BBQ, fishing and working out with weights. Mitrovic is the devoted father of three girls, who defines involvement as, being there for patients, helping them determine when they are ready to be on their own, and ensuring they know he is always available when they need him.
