SPARCS Human Ethics Launch
Summary
During the week of December 9th, W&M will be restricting access to "read-only" for the compliance.wm.edu and be moving to a new system, SPARCS, for protocol management. To prepare for the launch, the Research Compliance office will be hosting training sessions for faculty/staff who will be using this platform to submit IRB protocol proposals.

SPARCS Human Ethics
William & Mary will be transitioning from using the "compliance.wm.edu" protocol and compliance management system and moving to SPARCS (https://wm.app.cayuse.com/). All protocols that will be reviewed by the IRB will be submitted and processed using the "Human Ethics" module in SPARCS.
Users will still be able to access the "compliance.wm.edu" system once SPARCS is live; however, it will be in a "read-only" capacity.
Training Sessions
To prepare for the launch, the Research Compliance office will be hosting training sessions. Any one who will be using the system is welcome to join any of the sessions below!

SPARCS Guides
As part of the preparation for the team has prepared user guides that will be posted to the Human Ethics W&M SPARCS Information page. Once the guides have been finalized, they will be shared on the website.
