About Alisa

Greetings! I am a junior double majoring in Data Science and Business Analytics. Beyond academics, I am a photographer. I love nature and photographing many things: forests, the solar eclipse, and even hummingbirds. I am an artist, not just traditional art, but also digital art. I am also an outdoor enthusiast: from roller blading, to running, and biking. I am a self-explorer, challenge-seeker, curious to learn, creative to create, passionate to persist, and I believe that my diverse perspectives will lead me to even greater opportunities in the future.

Favorite Spot on Campus

Lake Matoaka is my favorite! I took two studio art courses in the Matoaka Lake Art Studio, and it was wonderful! I also did aerial photography above Lake Matoaka for four different seasons, and it was breathtaking!

Advice to New Students

Step out of your comfort zone step by step! Don’t be afraid to ask questions in your classes. Gradually get to know the city, the people around you, and to experience the American culture. Don’t be afraid to try something new!
