About Minnie
I am originally from Taiwan, but moved to Thailand with my family early on and completed my K-12 Education there. Prior to coming to William & Mary, I was a School Counselor and High School Teacher in Taiwan. I got my Masters in Counseling in Clinical Mental Health as well as School Counseling from Villanova University. I have worked as a School Counselor, College/Career Counselor, Resident Hall Director, and 2nd Grade Teacher. In my free time, I love going to coffee shops, zoos, aquariums, and beaches.
Favorite Spot on Campus
My favorite spots on campus are the Zable Stadium where I shared wonderful memories with loved ones cheering for Tribe Athletics, the Tyler McLeod Wellness center where they offer free art classes, and the walking path behind the School of Education where I get fresh air between classes.
Advice for New Students
Being at William & Mary comes with a lot of benefits, ranging from free athletics tickets, gym membership, counseling, and access to lots of events. Take the time to enjoy them while you’re here! For classes, read each syllabus thoroughly and reach out to ask professors if you have questions or just want to learn more about their work.
