The Penny Commons and The Patten Family Courtyard. These both portray humanity, selflessness, generosity, friendship etc. They are great spaces to unwind, study, interact with other students and meet faculty and staff.  

Advice for New Students

My advice to new and in-coming international students would be to get involved and engaged with the William & Mary community by attending and participating in events on campus and even off-campus in the Williamsburg area, thereby creating a sense of belonging while enjoying your college experience. Also, do give yourself time to adjust to your new environment without being pressured, and do not hesitate to ask questions because the answer you seek, is right where you are: The William & Mary Community.
