About Xiaotian

Hi, I’m Xiaotian Dong, a Juris Doctor student at the W&M School of Law with a concentration in International Business Transactions and International Arbitration. I studied International Relations and International Law at my undergraduate school, Beijing University, and worked in the field of International Governance before I came to William & Mary. My hobbies are snowboarding, Djembe, and making pour-over coffee.

Favorite Spot on Campus

My favorite spot is the Graduate Student Common located on the second floor of the Swem Library. This study room, surrounded by windows on three sides, is perfect for those who enjoy studying in natural light. It's a wonderful place to feel refreshed as it offers the longest duration of sunshine throughout the day!

Advice for New Students

Believe in yourself and recognize your achievements as you embrace the exciting opportunities at William & Mary!  Don’t hesitate to ask for help and build meaningful connections. But most importantly, have fun in the course of your personal growth!
