Health & Safety Abroad
The health, safety, and well-being of our study abroad students is of primary importance to W&M. W&M has an international travel policy which encompasses all student travel and maintains a list of countries which require additional review for student travel. The International Travel Review Committee regularly monitors developments around the world and adjusts risk assessments as circumstances change.
Emergency assistance is available 24/7 by contacting University Policy at +1-757-221-4596.
All students studying abroad are required to participate in pre-departure orientations and be covered by W&M’s international insurance policy. In addition we have compiled health and safety resources to assist students in planning for study abroad.
