International Embedded Courses
International Embedded Courses are courses taught at W&M with a significant international off-campus component. The course is primarily taught on campus and must meet the following criteria:
- Time off-campus must be dedicated to research or project-based learning
- The minimum week off-campus could be during a semester break or at the end of a course prior to the start of the next semester.
- Each course must include a reflective component that covers the time spent away
- Course would count as part of the regular teaching load of proposing faculty
The Global Education Office at the Reves Center is now accepting applications for international embedded 2024-25 fall and spring semester courses. A limited number of embedded courses will receive scholarship funding to support student participants. All faculty travel costs as well as a $1,000 faculty stipend will be covered for selected programs. An embedded course should be approved to be part of your normal teaching load.
Deadline: January 24, 2024
