Mona Starman

About Mona

Mona joined the Reves Center as the Community Programs Assistant in May 2016. In her role, she develops programming and provides support for international family members and J-1 Scholars.
Mona was born in India, raised in the U.S., and has lived in Virginia with her family since 2001. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and a Certification in ESL. Prior to joining the Reves Center, she worked as an elementary school teacher in Nebraska and Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys meeting new people, traveling, visiting wineries and enjoying life.
