Lavender House

Program Purpose & Goals
The Lavender House is William & Mary's first LGBTQ+ Special Interest Housing. The Lavender House is a co-curricular, co-residential community and is for students who identify as LGBTQ+ or are allies of the community.
Student Experience
The Lavender House hopes to provide a supportive and inclusive space for students in the LGBTQ+ community located in Maple Hall.
Learning Outcomes
Students living in the Lavender House will explore queerness through an interdisciplinary academic lens in regular, informal educational sessions led by Professor Watkins.
