Campus Emergency Phones
Emergency Phones
William & Mary is committed to ensuring a safe and secure campus environment exists for all students, employees, and community members. Available 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week and located throughout campus grounds, Emergency Reporting Telephone System (ERTS) phones provide a direct connection to the W&M Police Department and automatically identify the precise location from which you are calling to the dispatcher. Simply push the button or lift the receiver to connect with police. ERTS phones are easily identifiable by the blue light at the top of the phone pedestal, which flashes when activated for assistance.
