Continuous Improvement
This year the IT Business Office (ITbiz) worked to find ways to streamline and continue to improve operations.
- Organizing a manageable and easily understood budget to improve fiduciary decision-making and planning.
- Providing detailed and categorized allocated budget and expenses not otherwise available to us.
- Consolidating E&G indexes where appropriate.
- Centralizing E&G labor dollars where appropriate.
- Providing calculations and insights into labor dollar availability.
- Providing insights and implementing procure-to-pay IT processes by embracing the functionality of buyWM to benefit IT procedural improvements.
- Streamlining IT procurement processes working with buyers and chief supply chain officer to capture purchases that require IT review.
- Assisting the budget office in improving Equipment Fund Trust requests, approvals, and processing.
- Maintaining regular meetings with the Procurement Office to be sure we are mutually successful.
- Providing opportunity to improve HR and financial tasks utilizing existing productivity tools in 0365, Canva, and other desktop tools.
- Working closely with the Teams Calls project team to streamline and simplify telephony billing.
