Margaret O"ConnorProject Description
Art and technology have the unique ability to help us see and connect to nature in new ways. With support from Augmented Island Studios and W&M faculty from Art & Art History and the Muscarelle Museum of Art, a team of students designed a mural and corresponding Augmented Reality app designed to engage audiences in an interactive art experience to explore their connection to nature in new ways.
Centered on the interconnectedness between humans, plants and pollinators, the mural aims to utilize art and technology to inspire audiences to see nature and their connection to nature in new ways. Visit Swem Library to experience the mural and to explore your connection to nature in new ways.
