Prerequisites and Required Skills
Pre-req courses in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics or Supply Chain Analystics is a plus. Courses in sociology, anthropology, and research method are also a plus.
Travel
Two W&M students will travel together to Kenya to work with partner organizations to conduct research. Students should be prepared to live and conduct research in a remote field station in rural Kenya. The students will stay in field tents and will have limited access to running water, electricty and wifi. Students will hike on variable terrain and will be traveling on dirt roads to field sites. Students should be prepared for a multicultural experience and the self-reflection required of this type of research.
