Taylor Uem '26 is a double major in Sociology and Environmental and Sustainability Policy (ENSP). She has a strong interest in environmental justice and ecology, believing that conservation is essential to addressing both ecological and social challenges. Taylor values the idea that conservation can simultaneously tackle multiple ecological and social issues.

She has experience in GIS, citizen science volunteerism, and data collection, which will be beneficial for her project.

Beyond her academic and professional interests, Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors, appreciating the natural world around her through activities like stargazing, cloud watching, and birdwatching.
