Saoirse Dowd '27 is from Virginia Beach, VA, and plans to major in Integrative Conservation with a minor in Biology. Her passion for nature and the environment grew from growing up near the Chesapeake Bay, frequent trips to Wyoming’s rugged wilderness, and her deep love of animals.
In her free time, Saoirse enjoys playing soccer, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, and training and riding horses. Looking ahead, she hopes to combine her love for the outdoors and wildlife with her desire to help people, potentially pursuing a career in human-wildlife interactions or One Health.
