Chloe Thompson ‘27 is from Northern Virginia and is pursuing a degree in Public Policy with a minor in Integrative Conservation. Growing up with a mother who loves birds, Chloe has always been drawn to the environment and conservation. She enjoys engaging with nature by camping with friends on weekends or going birdwatching with her mother.Chloe's passion for sustainability deepened in high school, where she joined environmental clubs to learn more. She established a composting system at her school, which is still in use today, and has continued her commitment to sustainability by founding the Compost Club at William & Mary. The club educates students about sustainable living on campus and runs an after-school program where W&M students volunteer at local elementary schools to teach kids about composting and environmental stewardship.
Chloe loves giving back to her community through volunteer work, both through the Compost Club and by coaching kids’ basketball. She enjoys collaborating with others and believes that educational outreach is key to successful conservation. Chloe hopes to build a career that combines her passion for the environment with her desire to help people.
