Biography
Kaitlyn’s passion for conservation stems from her lifelong love of animals, and she is especially interested in ecology and environmental policy. She believes humans have a moral obligation to advocate for animal rights and protections. Her studies at W&M allow her to take a holistic perspective on environmental issues, blending natural and social sciences. It is Kaitlyn’s goal to attend law school and eventually work in animal rights law.

Kaitlyn loves spending time outdoors and grew up hiking, playing softball, and spending lots of time at the beach. She has worked on water quality monitoring with Potomac River Keepers and is a member of the W&M club softball team. Kaitlyn also makes crystal jewelry and operates her own small business.
